Suspension service is a specialty within bicycle repair, and it takes specialized tools to perform this work. One of the things that any factory tech will tell you is nice to have are sockets specifically made or altered for the low profile hex on the top of each fork leg. The lead-in or chamfer on a standard socket will greatly decrease the contact between tool and part and can easily scratch or deform those nuts. For years shops have been grinding down their sockets to remove the chamfer. The problem is that you're still often left with a loose-fitting socket that is still prone to chewing up those delicate parts. That's why we started from scratch. We made our sockets from billet aluminum to exacting tolerances to keep these parts in good shape. Fully CNC-machined with zero lead-in, they make the specialty that is suspension service a little bit easier. They feature a 3/8" square drive for use with your favorite torque wrench as well as finger splines to help run the top caps into the fork legs with those oil soaked hands. We also kept them short (1" or 25mm for all sizes) to reduce the chance of them slipping off of the top cap under torque. - Made from billet aluminum to exacting tolerances to keep form damaging the suspension - Finger splines so you can thread it easily by hand - 3/8" square drive - Short (1"/25mm for all sizes) to reduce the chance of them coming off of the top cap under torque - Made in Bend, Oregon Applications - 24mm socket - used on SRAM top caps - 26mm socket - used on Marzocchi and Reverb sealheads - 27mm socket - used on Fox and X-Fusion top caps - 30mm socket - used on the RS-1 SRAM sealhead removal tool as well as a handful of other forks. - 6-size set covers most modern suspension forks on the market: 24, 26, 27, 28, 30 and 32mm

Checking your chain for wear is one of the simplest things any cyclist can do to maintain drivetrain performance and minimize maintenance costs. The Italian Army Knife, a very SILCA take on the traditional multi-tool. We've addressed the things that frustrate us with conventional multi-tools, while keeping the layout that fits conveniently in the SILCA EOLO Wallet or Seat Roll Premio. The mid-length tool design is long enough to provide access to recessed fasteners, but short enough not to experience twist or damage under moderate torque as can happen on longer tools. All tools are forged rather than bent from hex stock. While this method of construction is more expensive, the value is unquestioned during a road-side repair. Mid-length tools also allow us to position the tools within the same plane, reducing the thickness of the overall package by half. Double-chromed tools and fully stainless steel hardware and bushings guarantee a long life without corrosion (the number 1 killer of multi-tools is corrosion). Forged aluminum sidebars contain rare-earth magnets for holding a spare chain connector. - Forged and machined sidebars with integrated chain-connector storage. - Tredici (Tre-dee-chee) 13 forged and plated tools: Hex 2/2.5/3/4/5/6/8 + Torx 10/20/25 + PH2/Flat + DiscPadSpreader. - 8mm adapter connects to the 5mm hex for optimal use of space. - Stainless steel pivot hardware - 98 grams

Hirobel is a specially designed clamp for bicycle repair stands that makes it easier to work on your bike. It better distributes stresses and loads through the bicycle frame, offering superior stability while eliminating possible crushing or damage to thin-walled and shaped tubing. The pressure clamps used on contemporary workstands were developed for round steel tubing more than 40 years ago, predating carbon fiber, aluminum, aerodynamic and oversized tube shapes, integrated seat masts, dropper posts, and suspension systems. These legacy designs assume your bicycle tubing to be both round and straight, and when it is not, the clamp can impart very high point loads at the clamp edges causing finish damage, internal carbon layup damage, or outright crushing of tubes on the lightest designs. With Hirobel, specially shaped, paint-friendly cones and bindings cradle the frame at the tube intersections, where wall thicknesses are higher and forces can be distributed over much larger surface areas. Adjustable and adaptable for any possible frame design, the Hirobel also allows the repair stand clamp to be located closer to the bicycle center of gravity. This improves stability and eliminates bouncing of the bike during heavier work while also locating the drivetrain consistently higher for the mechanic, improving visibility while reducing back strain.
